Activities depend on the study but may include a child...

  • Sitting on the parent’s lap while watching pictures on a screen
  • Playing listening games
  • Pointing to pictures that match words that they hear
  • Playing with toys with a researcher or parent

  • Free childcare is provided for siblings of participants

Will I receive results from the study?

We are happy to share lab presentations and published studies with you via email. Scores from standardized language measures can be provided at the parent's request.

Will I be compensated?

Families will be offered a t-shirt or $10/hr for participation. Children also receive a book for participating.

Additionally, families may receive compensation for travel on a case by case basis.
